How many days between two dates?▾
Use the first mode of the calculator. Pick a start and end date, and we show the total days, weeks, months (calendar months), years/months/days breakdown, and the business-day count (Mon–Fri).
What's the difference between calendar days and business days?▾
Calendar days count every day including weekends. Business days count only Mon–Fri. We don't exclude US federal holidays — if you need that, subtract them manually (typically 10–11 per year for the US).
How do I add 90 days to a date?▾
Use the second mode (Add or subtract). Pick your starting date, choose "Add", enter 90, and pick "Days". The result shows the new date with the day of the week.
Can I subtract months from a date?▾
Yes. Use the second mode, pick "Subtract", set the unit to "Months". Note that month math handles edge cases by following JavaScript's convention — e.g., March 31 minus 1 month becomes March 3 (Feb 31 → overflow to March 3).
What about leap years?▾
All calculations use real calendar dates, so leap years and varying month lengths are accounted for automatically. Feb 29 is a real date in leap years (2024, 2028, …).
